We didn't get a lot of pictures, just a few, but thought I'd share. It was wonderful to see so many old friends and even make a few new ones. A lot of the old gang asked about my mom and I do have a picture of her here with Lucas and myself. The pitcture of J and I is at the Henry Ford estate. I'd write more but we flew in early this morning and I'm not gonna be awake too much longer. Thanks for a great time!
I know it would take some work, or maybe not, but we should think about having some sort of mini get together. There seems to be a lot of people still within a couple hours of Dearborn. Would you get sick of eachother if there was some sort of informal gathering???? Just a thought.
Hey Ladies, Carey Fody and I were talking about playing soccer next summer. I have played before; games are usually Sunday evenings throughout the summer. Anyone interested? Send me a message or post one if you want to play- no experience necessary. I'll manage the details, but I think Armen should coach
Just thought it would be interesting to hear some tales from that infamous room number (real or imagined: before or after the raid.Like someone in bed with all the women in the room....oh never mind.....harmless. Doug B. and Ed B. deserve a shout out for being troopers (and if Sandy Hunt sees this why did you make those guys buy that wine and you didn't even drink it!?!?) that's okay, I'm sure it was consumed at Prysak's on Saturday!
Well, it's Sunday and while this all still relatively fresh in my mind I'd like to express my thanks! I tried to thank the committee each personally the night of the event, but let me thank you all collectively here. Without a doubt, I, and just about everyone that I heard speak of it, would give this event a classification of "HUGE Success". Although it may hve seemed thankless to you guys at many times during the preparation and everyone knows that it must be a pain to work so hard for free, I hope you were rewarded with the fruits of your labor. I am sure I am not alone in saying that I had a GREAT time and we all owe it to the ones that stepped up and took on the task. There may have been things that didn't go as planned or could have been done differently, but we who participated would never have known and had a great time. You all deserve to be called out one by one, but I wont get so gushy here. As a whole you guys provided the proof that we always had (and evidently... [Read More]
While I'm going to be posting a more formal survey about the reunion, we'd appreciate any comments, concerns, ideas, or problems that you'd like to mention. It's important that the Reunion Committee be able to pass along as much information as possible to those who will be organizing the 25 year reunion.
OK guys!
Tell all! What happened last night? What was the funniest moment? Who looked the most different? Who looked exactly the same? Who got the drunkest? Who stole the show? What was your best memory? How late did the party rock? Rate the reunion 1 to 10! What did I miss? WHAT HAPPENED?
The wife is graciously offering to babysit some kids if you're having a hard time finding a sitter. We'll have a room at the Hyatt, so you can drop off/pickup there. Not sure if anyone is inclined to accept, since you've never met my wife....
She's a former law enforcement officer with first aid & CPR training (in fact, she's performed CPR on someone before). She loves kids, and has two sons that are in their late 20's.
If you're interested, please let me know. She can watch a few kids at the room.
